ABOUT SUN COTTAGE CHIPPY

Paul and Tracey originally bought the 'The Sun Cottage Cafe' in 2006, and for so many years pleased customers with great home made food and fabulous cakes. 2020 came, the pandemic came, and because of social distancing and the 'two metre' rule, seating in the cafe was no longer an option. So Paul and Tracey decided to have a total change, yet do what they do best, food that is so they transformed the cafe and Hawkshead got it's first fish and chip shop.

Paul and Tracey work hard to ensure all the food is fresh and locally sourced where possible, Paul says,'what's most important to us is that the customers enjoy the food'. The Sun Cottage Chippy also aims to help people with dietry requirements such as vegetarian options, Halal kebabs, chicken, and glutton free food options. Fresh haddock and cod are delivered daily by a local supplier .
